Mumbai does not need any introduction, it is one of the best known cities in the world. however there a few unique things about mumbai that deserve a mention.

Mumbai has a very large population that is middle class and many are first generation entrepreneurs it also has a vibrant film industry , making mumbai a fashion capital of sorts.

Half the people in mumbai commute at least for two hours in a day to and from work, the largest number of people travel by trains, to places as far as 60 kms from the central business district no wonder the trains are always overcrowded in mumbai. the trains also helped in the growth of mumbai as the city is linear and extends in a straight line towards borivali ,thane and vashi.

There are three branches of railways in mumbai , the harbour line that extends towards the eastern side of mumbai and then turns towards vashi and the navi mumbai. The Central line that goes upto thane and beyond and the western railway that extends upto borivali and beyond.

The main arterial roads too follow the same pattern and there are very few north south link roads the main ones being eastern express highway , SV road going via mahim , dadar , worli right upto nariman point. the paul d'mello road that goes along the harbour line via sewri wadala upto matunga.

There are the famous roads in mumbai like the queens necklace or marine drive , mahalakshmi race course road , worli sea face and many other roads that are an integral part of the city.

We will be discussing each road with the perspective of billboards available on the road and why that road is so popular. we will then be adding the billboards information so that we can refer to these roads.
